1. Culture Medium Formula

Formula 1: 6% cottonseed hulls, 35% sawdust, 24% corncobs, 23% bran, 4% cornmeal, 6% soybean meal, 2% light calcium carbonate.

Formula 2: 25% cottonseed hulls, 35% sawdust, 10% corncobs, 16% bran, 6% cornmeal, 6% soybean meal, 2% light calcium carbonate.

2. Mixing

Weigh the raw materials according to the formula. Place the cottonseed hulls, corncobs, cornmeal, soybean meal, bran, and light calcium carbonate into a blender and dry blend for 15 minutes. Add the pre-wetted sawdust and begin adding water, stirring as you go. Continue stirring for 40-60 minutes after adding water to ensure uniform mixing. The moisture content of the culture medium before sterilization is approximately 66%, with a pH of 6-7.

3. Filler

Use 18.5 cm x 36.5 cm polypropylene bags and a fully automatic bagging and basketing machine. The growing bags are approximately 19 cm tall and weigh 1450-1500 grams. The bag should be moderately tight, with the inoculation holes intact and centered.

4. Leak Detection

At the end of the conveyor line, defective bags, such as those with missing lids, missing rings, or incomplete sealing, are removed from the baskets and reprocessed to produce qualified bags, ensuring bag consistency.

5. Automatic Transfer Basket Loading into the Sterilization Cart

After being loaded into baskets by the bag-making machine, the bags are transported via a conveyor system to the basket loading machine, which neatly places them on the sterilization racks. A transfer forklift transports the filled sterilization racks to a high-temperature, high-pressure autoclave for sterilization.
