VI. Maturity and harvesting
White jade mushrooms enter the maturity period 25 to 27 days after storage. At this time,
the temperature should be lowered, the humidity of the space should be appropriately reduced,
and the light time should be extended to allow the mushrooms to grow evenly. When the stem
length is 14 to 17 cm and the cap diameter is 1.5 to 2.5 cm, it can be harvested
VII. Grading and packaging
The cultivation baskets after being taken off the shelves are transported to the packaging workshop
through the assembly line for harvesting. When packaging, the mushrooms are graded, weighed and
packaged according to the sales specifications and grading standards. The white jade mushrooms
currently sold usually need to be root-cut and divided into A, B and C grades according to the quality grade.
The caps are required to be round, hemispherical, not open, without rotten caps, and the stems are straight,
without deformities, pests and diseases, spots, mildew, deterioration, hair and other impurities. The cut root
mushrooms must not carry culture medium, and they must be beautiful, neat and consistent after packaging.
Small packages are generally not cut, and are covered with OPP film. The specific weight and specifications vary
slightly from manufacturer to manufacturer. The packaged finished products are placed on the warehouse boards
according to categories and specifications and refrigerated in a warehouse with a temperature of 0~4℃.
