Commonly used drug reagents for seed production include white sugar, glucose,
soybean meal powder, corn flour, protein chen, yeast paste/powder, vitamin B1,
magnesium sulfate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, potassium hydrogen phosphate,
dilute hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide, defoamer, agar strips/powder, etc.
In order to ensure the quality of strains, it is recommended to use chemically pure grade
and above reagents for drug reagents, and do not change the manufacturer and specifications
at will; most manufacturers use homemade soybean meal powder and corn flour, and the crushing
coarseness ranges from 60 to 200 mesh. Under normal circumstances, the particles used in shake
flasks are finer than those in fermentation tanks; potassium dihydrogen phosphate and potassium
hydrogen phosphate are common pH adjustment buffers; defoamers are mostly used in fermentation tanks,
and some species such as Pleurotus eryngii shake flasks also need to add a small amount of defoamer.
