✅ Basic Environment Control
Right after inoculation, move the fully sealed mushroom bags to a pre-disinfected incubation room. Keep the room temperature stable at 20–24°C, relative humidity maintained at 40%–50%, keep the space completely dark, and ensure slow fresh air circulation to avoid dampness that breeds contaminants.
📦 Temperature-based Stacking Tips
When substrate temperature hits 15°C: Stack bags in a single-direction "—" pattern, 5 layers high, leave 60cm gaps between adjacent stacks.
When substrate temperature hits 20°C: Stack bags in a crisscross "井" pattern, 5 layers high, leave 60cm gaps between adjacent stacks.
When substrate temperature exceeds 25°C: Never stack bags in piles, lay all bags out in a single flat layer to prevent mycelium overheating damage.
🧰 Daily Management Details
Restack the bags every 5–7 days, swap the top and bottom bags, and rotate each bag 180 degrees to ensure even heat exposure and uniform mycelial growth. Under normal conditions, mycelium will fully colonize the whole bag in 25–30 days. After full colonization, continue post-maturation incubation for another 7–10 days to make the mycelium thicker, denser and whiter, laying a solid foundation for subsequent fruiting.
⚠️ Contamination Prevention Reminder
During high temperature periods, inspect all bags regularly to spot contaminated bags in time. Remove and dispose of contaminated bags immediately, to avoid cross-infection that ruins the whole batch of spawn bags.
