Classification by Different Treatment Methods for Fully Fermented Bags

 Wall-type Cultivation

(1) Single-bag wall cultivation with no bag removal: Arrange physiologically mature bags one next to the other in a horizontal row along the greenhouse. Leave a 1-1.2m wide passage at one end of the row and an 80cm wide passage between rows for easy management and harvesting. The wall can generally be piled up to a height of 8-12 bags. Untie the ends of the bags to manage moisture for fruiting.

(2) Double-bag wall cultivation with bag removal: Create a 90-100cm wide ridge every 50cm. Leave a 7-8cm plastic tube at one end of the bag, remove the rest, and arrange them horizontally in two rows on the ridge, one end facing outwards. Fill the area around the ridge with nutrient soil, 6-8 layers in total. Seal the top with 2-3cm thick nutrient soil, leaving a slightly lower middle section for irrigation. (2) Bed cultivation. Beds should ideally be oriented east-west, with a turtle-back shape and a slightly higher center. The width of the bed should be 1.2m, the depth 30cm, and the length should be chosen based on the terrain to facilitate management. Before feeding the substrate, the bed should be irrigated with 5% lime water to ensure it absorbs sufficient moisture. When the bed surface is slightly dry, spray the bed surface and surrounding area with dichlorvos and sprinkle lime powder on the bed surface for disinfection. Sowing can be done using a layer sowing method, generally three layers of substrate and three layers of spawn. The substrate thickness should be 15-20cm, and the sowing amount should be 15%-20% (the ratio of spawn to inoculum in each layer is upper layer: middle layer: lower layer = 2:1:1). First, lay a 5cm thick layer of substrate on the mushroom bed, then sprinkle a layer of spawn, then lay another 5cm thick layer of substrate on top of the spawn, then sow another layer of spawn, then lay another layer of substrate on top of the spawn, and finally sprinkle another layer of spawn on top of the substrate. After sowing, immediately cover with sterilized newspaper, then cover with sterilized plastic film for mycelium growth and fruiting management.

(3) Ground-level soil-covered cultivation: In the cultivation shed, dig furrows 80-100cm wide and 20cm deep every 50cm, and water thoroughly. Remove all the mushroom bags and place them in the furrows, leaving a 1-2cm gap between the bags. Fill the gaps with nutrient soil, water, and then cover the surface with 2cm of garden soil.

(4) Fruiting using tiered racks and mesh racks: Fruiting on tiered racks in greenhouses or on mesh racks in factory workshops improves land utilization compared to traditional wall-mounted cultivation. This method offers good ventilation, convenient harvesting, a neat and clean environment, and eliminates the problem of mushroom walls collapsing in the later stages of fruiting. Furthermore, the mushroom bags do not contact the ground, reducing the occurrence of pests and diseases, making it a new method of fruiting.
